About Attorney Ed Rosenthal

Attorney Rosenthal grew up outside of Albany, New York and went to college at Boston University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in three years.  Attorney Rosenthal founded a fraternity on campus and held a number of positions, including being the business manager for the student newspaper, working at a stock brokerage, and interning with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. He then attended the University Of Miami School Of Law in Coral Gables, Florida, graduating in 1992.  While at the University of Miami, he was a member and an editor of the Business Law Journal.  Attorney Rosenthal has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1992 and of the Connecticut bar since moving to Connecticut in 1993.

Attorney Rosenthal has had his own office since 2005, but before that he was with two different boutique firms where his practice was devoted to litigation.

Attorney Rosenthal has tried cases to verdict before judges and juries throughout Connecticut in both State and Federal Court. Attorney Rosenthal has handled appeals in Connecticut courts. Attorney Rosenthal has successfully handled numerous personal injury cases based on car accidents, premises liability, dog bites, assaults, and medical malpractice. Attorney Rosenthal has been representing nursing homes since 1997, and has successfully handled many cases based on breach of contract, fraud, fraudulent conveyances, and negligence. Attorney Rosenthal regularly appears before the probate courts in Connecticut to advocate for his clients’ best interests. Attorney Rosenthal has represented nursing homes before the Department of Social Services concerning involuntary discharges, and denials of Medicaid benefits. 

Attorney Rosenthal is proud to be a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association, the Association for Long Term Care Financial Managers, and the Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut.

Attorney Rosenthal is married with two children. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and reading.
